Pre Anaesthesia Clinic

Our perioperative care starts with PAC (Central assessment Room ). Patients coming for preoperative fitness for surgery are being holistically assessed and completely optimised as per RGGGH PAC Protocol before going for surgery. Nearly 300 patients are thoroughly assessed per month.

Post Anaesthesia Care Unit

PACU was started in the year 2018 to take care of the surgical patients undergoing major surgery with blood loss/fluid shifts, faciomaxillary procedures and post-surgical patients with anaesthetic complications. It had 20 beds and upgraded to 30 beds in 2023 and has 10 ventilators. It is functioning round the clock under the supervision of qualified anaesthesiologists with help of anaesthesia postgraduates.

Pain Clinic Services

Chronic pain incapacitates more than 30% of general population. So chronic interventional pain management helps not only in relieving pain but improves the quality of life.

Pain clinic services are provided to the patients for over three decades as an OP procedure, IP Procedure , Surgical Procedure and Chronic Pain Management Centre (CPMC). We do interventional pain management procedures both ultrasound and fluoroscopic guided. We cater both to palliative cancer patients and chronic pain like LBA. Procedures that are done in CPMC are

• USG/Fluoroscopic guided hypogastric plexus neurolysis
• Stellate ganglion block
• Caudal and transforaminal Epidural
• Specific Nerve root block
• Facetal injections
• Trigeminal block
• Greater occipital nerve block(GON)
• Sacroiliac joint block
• TAP, continuous sciatic & femoral nerve block etc
